Those online guys who will promise you a fully functional HTML/CSS template for $217 aren't telling you that, despite that your template will look (mostly) like your PSD, it will most likely be a big mess under the hood.

Delivering HTML templates takes a lot more than just uploading a file. At The Dev Department, we work with you to identify not only the specifics of your design, but also the intended end-uses so that we may develop a template that can be smoothly integrated into the development phase.

Standards-compliant code.

We develop and test our code in all the major browser.

The Dev Department creates code that is clean and manageable.  Also, we create code that is search engine friendly so you don't have to rewrite the whole site when you start doing search marketing.

We no-longer support Internet Explorer 6, but we will (at no additional charge) install a browser sniffer on your site to assist your site visitors with upgrading.
