Check out this article from 37Signals.com product blog. http://bit.ly/dfmk2Z It is about how a design firm in Brooklyn uses their product called Highrise to organize his business. Guess who else uses Highrise? That's right! The Dev Department.
Here are some things we like about it:
- You can forward emails to a mailbox to automatically create contacts.
- You can send emails to a mailbox to automatically create tasks for today, tomorrow, etc.
- It allows you to tag contacts. We use these for cities (Atlanta, New York, etc), size of firm (agency, freelance or small) and lots of other things
- We use it to track and organize estimates and assemble all the notes, etc.
