Jodi Hersh

OWNER, ORANGE STAR DESIGN, INC.

Jodi’s passion for art dictates her attitude toward life — her devotion to her work, her thriving and award-winning studio. Jodi has over 20 years of experience as a designer and earned her BFA in graphic design and photography from the University of Michigan School of Art & Design.

After graduating, Jodi returned to her hometown of Miami where she worked as part of team designing signage and graphics for Universal Studios and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines among others. Jodi broadened her range of experience by art directing at a printing company where she gained valuable working knowledge of developing technologies and processes.

Since starting Orange Star in 1993, Jodi has worked on and led projects for clients as large as ALLTEL, Centers for Disease Control (CDC), The American Cancer Society, and Styx — and as varied as environmental graphics, logos & corp. identities, concert/tour merchandise, event graphics, publications, interactive new media and complex database driven websites.

Jodi is a voting member of the Recording Academy and a member of the Adobe Creative Advisory Panel.

In addition, Jodi is an avid photographer and mixed-media artist and frequently participates in art festivals throughout the Southeast.

As an advisor to The Dev Department, Jodi helps refine our process and designer relations strategies.

Ben Campbell Johnson, PhD

CONSULTANT AND ENTREPENEUR

As an advisor to The Dev Department, Ben brings experience and advice in the areas of business development and evangelism as well as sound operational and growth advice.

Ben brings a diverse background to our group. He has been an entrepreneur in both business and church development. A teacher, a preacher, a board member and an author of over 40 books. Currently, he is very active in the area of Interfaith training and vision for the Atlanta area. Prior to retiring, Ben was a professor at Columbia Theological Seminary in Atlanta where he worked primarily in the area pastoral renewal and church development.

Louis Villaume, CLU®, ChFC®
FINANCIAL ADVISOR AND SALESMAN

Louis is a graduate of the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce of the University of Pennsylvania, with a B.S. in Economics.  He has earned the Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations from the American College, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. He is a Life Member of the Million Dollar Round Table.

He is Past President of  the following professional organizations: Estate Planning Council of Southwest Louisiana, Society of Financial Services Professionals of Southwest Louisiana and Southwest Louisiana Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.

Louis is a member of the Lake Charles Salvation Army Advisory Board and the Lake Charles Rotary Club.

With over 30 years experience working with other professionals in accounting, estate planning, law and succession planning, Louis has the experience and is qualified to help clients plan their financial futures.

As an advisor to The Dev Department, he helps direct our financial decisions and advises on best practices in sales development as well as plain old emotional support.
